Thanks to funding from Leeds City Council, all the staff at Project Hope Leeds have been trained to deliver Peep Sessions to local families.
Our first ever Peep group was a great success with 16 families attending 9 sessions, learning how to use everyday routines, play and activities as an opportunity to help their children’s grow and develop early language, maths and learning skills.
We played together, sang together, read books and tried new foods and both parents and children had a great time getting to know their neighbours.
Here are some of the parents comment:
“My son is using more words and we play more, using some learning ideas.”
“I like everything about peep. I enjoyed seeing my child being very happy in the group and she especially enjoyed all the singing”
“My daughter learned how to play more with other kids”
“I have seen my child’s language develop, she is talking more and we spend more time together, reading stories more often”
“I got to meet mum’s and share our experiences”
